Why is the taste of Torai sauce special?
Torai is usually eaten as a healthy vegetable. People often eat it by putting it in lentils or vegetables, but very few people know that sauce can also be made from it. Step-by-step method:
1. First wash the luffa thoroughly and cut it from the middle.
2. Now apply oil on every piece and put small holes in between and put garlic buds.
3. Fry the luffa well on a low flame on the gas. Keep turning in between so that it is cooked from all sides.
4. When Torai becomes soft, put it in cold water and peel it.
5. Now grind red-green chili, ginger, garlic and asafoetida with luffa on the silbatta or mixer.
6. After grinding, take out the chutney in a plate and add salt and mix well.
Keep these things in mind while frying
1. Do not choose a very thin luffa, use a little thick and fresh luffa.
2. Keep the flame slow while roasting so that it can cook well inside.
3. It is important to keep turning, otherwise one side can burn more.
