Peanuts
- 1 cup roasted peanuts (sprinkled and light broken)
- 3/4 cup jaggery (grated or chopped into small pieces)
- 1/2 tsp ghee
- 1 to 2 tsp water
1. Prepare peanuts
Break the roasted peanuts lightly and break it from the middle. This will make the crunch of Chikki more good.
Take a heavy bottom pan and add ghee to it. Now add jaggery to it and let it melt on medium flame. The jaggery will slowly melt and the foam will begin to form.
3. Check the perfect stage of jaggery
Take cold water in a bowl and add a drop of jaggery to it. If it breaks and does not stick, then jaggery is ready.
Now turn off the gas and add peanuts to the melted jaggery and mix well so that every grain is wrapped with jaggery.

Keep a plate or flat plate ready by applying ghee in advance. Now add the prepared mixture to it and spread it thin with the rolling.
6. Cut into pieces
When the mixture is light warm but not completely strict, then cut it with a knife into the desired shape. After cooling, it will automatically become crisp.
After getting completely cold, store Chikki in airtight compartment. It does not spoil for several days.
