1. Place roti in light wet cotton cloth
After making the rotis, wrap them in a clean, light wet cotton cloth. This keeps their moisture and they remain soft for a long time. In this way, there is no need to keep the rotis in the fridge.
If you are making several rotis simultaneously, then keep the butter paper or tissue paper in the middle of every bread while stacking them. With this, the rotis will not stick together and their softness will also remain.
3. Choose steel or glass container not plastic
Avoid plastic boxes to store rotis. Instead, keep the rotis in a steel or glass container and put a thin cloth on top by putting a lid. This will keep the air out and the rotis will not dry quickly.

4. Wrap well in foil paper
If the rotis are to be eaten till the next day, wrap them in aluminum foil, it will protect them from the outside air and the bread will remain soft for long.
By leaving the bread open, it dries very quickly and becomes hard. So always keep it covered, whether you are making it fresh or keeping it fresh.

1. Always knead the flour with lukewarm water. This keeps the rotis fresh for a long time.
2. Keep the griddle too hot while baking the rotis so that they quickly roast and moisturize.
3. Use wood or bamboo basket to keep the rotis, so that the air goes properly in them.
8. Ghee will increase softness and taste
Immediately after getting off the pan, apply a little ghee on the roti and then keep it. This stops its moisture and the bread remains soft, if the roti is to be heated again the next day, add light ghee on the pan and roast – believe it, its taste will increase even more.
