Use paper towels
The easiest way to keep green chillies fresh is the use of paper towels. The chillies deteriorate quickly due to moisture and air and start turning red. In such a situation, you can keep them in airtight container. First of all, lay the paper towel under the container, then add no stalk chili and keep a paper towel from the top. After this, close the container well and store it in the fridge. The paper towel absorbs moisture and chilies remain fresh for a long time.

Use zip-lock bag
If you do not have airtight container then zip-lock bag can also be used. For this, put a little paper towel in the bag and then keep green chillies in it. Close the bag completely and remove the air inside. Keeping it in the fridge will not spoil chili quickly and will remain green.

Do pepper separate
If some of your chillies have already turned red or yellow, then immediately separate them. A bad chili also spoils the rest of the pepper quickly. Therefore, always keep green chillies separate with green chillies and bad chilies.

Take care of the right temperature
The correct temperature of the fridge is very important to keep green chillies fresh, if the temperature is very low then the chillies can freeze and may deteriorate. At the same time, even if the temperature is high, the chillies start drying quickly. Try to balance the temperature of the fridge so that the chillies remain fresh.
